How to Overcome Spotify’s Free Limitations

To create a Spotify playlist, go to the Playlists section on the left side of the app. Then, find the one that interests you.

You can’t download songs for offline listening

One of the easiest ways to do it is to create a playlist of your favorite songs. You can also download single songs to add to your library. If you’re on a laptop, this is a great way to listen to music when you’re away from a Wi-Fi connection.

In addition to selecting the right codec, you can also adjust the volume of your songs. The app uses the Ogg Vorbis codec, which is used by most devices.

If you want to hear lossless audio, you will have to subscribe to Spotify’s Premium plan. With the Premium subscription, you can unlock Very High stream quality, which allows you to hear CD-quality lossless audio. But if you only want to listen to high-quality music, you can still choose to listen to the free version.

While the free version of the service is fairly limited, it does provide access to 50 million tracks. Users can also follow and discover friends and artists. Plus, the Spotify app comes with a sleep timer, which helps you avoid using too much data while listening.

You can’t skip as many songs as you deem necessary

If you’re a Spotify user, you may have noticed ads. They’re not just annoying, they interrupt your listening experience. Some of them feature audio advertisements that are actually a bit disturbing for people with sensory processing issues.
